- About NOCC
Even though I’m still recovering from a blood clot in my aneurysm stent in my left leg and a hematoma in my stomach, I’m still taking on the role as team captain of “Musiker Mile'rs” at the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Central MD Chapter’s Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer being held on Sunday, NOCC National Broadcast will be on September 26th from 7:00-8:00 PM.
Proceeds from this event support the NOCC’s mission to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. The Coalition is committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
I do this to honor the memory of my Aunt Ruthie and my beloved wife Nilda who succumbed to this disease. Nilda believed in this organization that helped her through her 2-year battle. She was the bravest and most unselfish person, even to the end. She lives on in my heart and soul and would want me to continue with this mission.
Please make an on-line donation by Sept. 20 for any amount!
