Hello Family & Friends,
I am participating in an Ovarian Cancer walk. Because of COVID-19 this will be a virtual walk.
My journey with ovarian cancer began back in 1989. I was 29 years old and after many wrong diagnosises found out I had a tumor the size of a grapefruit on my ovary, and it was removed by surgery. In addition sadly I had a full hysterectomy which at that age was devastating to me because I love children, and always dreamt of being a Mommy. Fast forward to March of 2019 I was diagnosed with metastatic ovarian cancer. I have cancer in my abdomen, chest, and neck. I was again devastated because I was living the life. A wonderful hubby, a full time job, spending time with my family and friends. I with my siblings were caring for our Dad in an assisted living facility. Quite the full life. April 20, 2019 our Dad passed away another very devastating moment for me. I began chemo nine days later.
There have been a lot of ups and downs. Days I want to quit and let nature take its course. With a lot of help from my family, and friends whom I consider family realized that quitting was not an answer!! I am not a quitter!
I am still receiving chemo in fact my last treatment was August 2020.
I want to thank you for all your love & support. Monetary donations are always welcome, but thoughts and cheerleading help too!
Wish me luck,
Please help me support National Ovarian Cancer Coalition by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's great cause!
Together, we can make a difference!
