UPDATE as of October 7:
I am so happy to have been able to ring “The Bell” as I concluded my Chemotherapy treatments on Wednesday!
I look forward to my upcoming CT scans to verify that the chemo has done its job to put this wicked disease and all it's crippling side effects behind me for good!
2021 will be a new year for me to celebrate my life as a cancer survivor and I look forward to participating in the Pittsburgh/ National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Run/Walk event next September and beyond! I will call out to many of you to participate with me so that we can all be “Together in Teal!”
Many, Many thanks to all of my family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me so greatly over the last year! I love you all more than you will ever realize!
Be Brave, Be Strong, Be Patient, Be Kind,
Love and Blessings,
As some of you may know, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in April 2020 and have been undergoing treatment since June 2020.
My mom, Fidelis (RIP) would have been devastated to learn of my diagnosis; but would have known I would fight like heck to overcome it. My FIGHT is for HER, my Husband, and for the rest my FAMILY! They know I am not a quitter and will not let the cancer take me from this world before I am good and ready!
Please help me support National Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Pittsburgh by making a small contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends.
Every dollar I raise will advance National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's great cause!
Please do NOT feel obligated to donate, although I would be grateful if you did - I know this time of year, we are asked to donate to many causes and I do not want to burden anyone with an additional request!
Together, we can make a difference to fight this silent killer!
Thank you so much,
